Who we are
FirstFlag is the trading name of FIRSTFLAG LTD, registered in England and Wales No. 17437436, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. The company is the data controller for everything described here. For anything on this page, email hello@firstflag.co.uk.
The site
If you request access, we keep what you type into the form: your name, work email, agency and desks. It is used to reply to you about access and for nothing else. We do not sell, rent or share it.
The app
Signing in stores the email you sign in with, and the actions your team takes in the app (marking a company as reached, a meeting booked, a placement and its fee) are recorded against that email so your own results are attributable to your own team. This data exists to serve you and is kept while your team uses FirstFlag.
People named in the product
FirstFlag reads the public Companies House register. Where a company entry names its current directors, those names come from that public register, are shown with a link back to it, and are processed under legitimate interests: making public filings usable. If you are named and want your name out of our copies, one email does it.
Outreach
We contact people at UK recruitment businesses about FirstFlag, using work contact details gathered from public sources and business directories, under legitimate interests as business-to-business correspondence. Every email says plainly who we are. Reply with a no, or the word stop, and you go on a suppression list we honour permanently; that list is the one dataset we keep forever, because forgetting it would mean contacting you again.
Tracking
No tracking pixels, on the site or in our emails. No advertising cookies. No third-party analytics scripts. Our server keeps standard access logs (IP, page, time) for security and capacity, rotated routinely.
Cookies
The marketing site sets no cookies. The app sets one cookie when you sign in, whose only job is keeping you signed in.
Where data lives
With established cloud infrastructure providers under standard data processing terms. A current list of processors is available on request from the email above.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you, or object to any processing, by emailing hello@firstflag.co.uk. We answer within one working day. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
